Glad you sent us over the Carolyn's! So many beautiful sights through her lens.
As for my short time at the longest yard sale, believe me, I wanted to stay longer but I was granted one day by my daughter and I only had a short time with her to get her place ready. Unfortunately I don't get much vacation or travel time. Gotta fit in what I can! And you can leave your tips and thoughts in my comments anytime! Liz
Jonell, I can't wait to hear the ideas that came to you as you sat fringing burlap. Where did you get the sacks? I wanted to tie the fringed ends of my table runner but the ends were actually the finished edges where it comes already stitched to prevent fraying. So I didn't bother. Fringing the entire length seemed too much of a job that might end up always looking messy since its the part that lies on the table top instead of the part that hangs over the edges. I do want to try that on something sometime though because I think that is a really cute look. So what were you making?! Tell, tell! Liz
This is intended to be an exchange of thoughts, recollections and ideas. A note /comment from you Makes My Day- I would be honored to have you sign on as a FOLLOWER.
