Let's Do This AGAIN~ While the Bridal Wreath is Blooming~

A scene as pretty as this should not be called a Spring Re-Run
Spring 2010

Decorator secrets- I never, never buy new table cloths, napkins etc.  I always keep an eye out for basic supplies that someone else has paid the new price for and usually only gently worn.  Flaws & imperfections- signs of use are not an issue for me.  My old and new Fiestaware is the most all purpose stash of supplies in my home.  They are not fragile and mix with literally any dishes I enjoy using.  I never have a real plan for coordinating dishes, pottery, linens- "I just make it up as I go."

One last little insider note:  Weather and the blooming schedule can sometimes play havoc with any 'set in stone' plan for a staged area.  Not a Problem! If the blooms fail me I just clip what I often call 'weed flowers' or healthy stems & branches from almost anything that grows - toss them into containers and CALL THEM FLOWERS!

  1. Aaaah! I could sit there, and forget about the time! Karlee and I went to get flowers this afternoon.... I'm hoping to dig in the dirt in a little bit, or morning, maybe. I have mom looking for a bridal wreath for me. She had one when we were little (at Holly's house - still blooms beautifully each year), and now that I've seen how you use them to stage your porch table... I just N-E-E-D one... ya know?! LOL!

    1. I always wish someone I knew was having a wedding when they are in bloom but like so many exquisite things they don't last long...you might as well grab the clippers and snip an armload of them and "make some pretty"...and enjoy the pictures later! You and Karlee have fun!
