COFFEE TIME -

COFFEE TIME
Can we start with freshly ground Coffee Beans?
How About Half/Half Creamer
(choose your FLAVOR)

Hot Tea Works for Me
I tend to prefer Coffee in the Morning
and Hot Tea in the afternoon or evening-
Don't ask me why!

Idea!
You Don't have a spot like this for a Coffee Service Station?
Easy- Find or repurpose a tray-Fill it with just the essentials
and It can Travel..[about the house]
or bring the coffee maker to it-

You have figured out by now
I love COLORFUL
And VINTAGE
And   GIRLY

And you know I'm loving
Rustic and Primitive

I also trust myself to throw in a few things that are
BRAND SPANKING NEW
or
CONTEMPORY

Notice the primitive rustic tray-
and the
NEW WHITE ENAMEL
(a gift from a DIL a few years ago)

&

a very old  piece of great POTTERY fits right in dontcha think?

The grouping of cups/mugs range from a floral pattern dating back to "I don't know when" along with the easily vintage red Pyrex mugs and beautiful  fiesta colors of the NEW set, a gift from our newest daughter-in-law. The History of Pyrex

Did anyone notice that we do perked ...(as in percolator) Coffee at our house?

One of my very favorite rustic things that "have had a life" is

That wire primitive rectangular Basket/Tray

    1. Olivia thank you for leaving a note..I'm glad you like this.Perhaps you could try a condensed version just by using a nice tray fitted w only basic essentials -maybe that would be possible to find a spot for -even if you don't include coffeemaker the tray could travel as needed??? justa thought~

  3. I also enjoy coffee in the morning and tea later in the day. When I was young I was strictly a tea drinker. I think powdered creamer changed my mind about the taste of coffee.

    1. Annie thank you for leaving a note/btw when I began to notice that a powdered creamer leaves a greasy film in my mouth...that's what turned me from it and I just cannot bear to have my coffee any more without half and half.. BUT then odd as it may see to avid [hot] Tea people- I never want cream in my hot tea..'to each her own'

  5. I found you at Mrs. Olson's party today. Love your coffee bar and that percolator is divine. I almost bought a percolator recently, when needing to replace my coffee maker.

  6. Dayle there is a coffee story there...how I came all the way from PERKED coffee with sugar and carnation milk only on Sunday mornings as a child at home to again perking coffee on the stove or the most recent electric percolator. thank you for leaving me a note-I've already visited your lovely blog.

  7. Really cute! I grew up with a percolator. I always loved the bubbling and the wonderful smell. We miss out on the anticipation with the "pod" coffee makers. I am visiting from Share Your Cup party! Glad to have found my way to your blog.
