These silvery fuzzy leaves make for whimsical garden edging, especially since deer don't like to eat them.

  2. In drought saddened northern California we've gone the way of using runoff shower water to help water our plants. We also removed a but a small patch of lawn... and two days ago I bought zinnias to plant. A nearby neighbors zinnias continue to survive no matter his neglect. And trust me, he neglects his garden. While everything in his garden is dying a fast death, zinnias remain. Amazing.
